7 Tips to Make Your Hair Grow Faster

Try these simple steps and definitely you will notice a faster hair growth rate after a couple of weeks.

1. Hair Trimming


Get your hair properly trimmed on a regular basis to avoid split ends. You may think that, trimming doesn't make your hair grow faster and reduces the length, but it will keeps your hair look healthy and prevents the split to go up strands. Split ends causes the breakage of hair strands and there happen a reduction in the entire volume of your hair. So preventing the split ends is essential for an enhanced hair growth. Never overdo trimming. You can trim your hair once in 3-4 months to avoid split ends and breakage. 

2. Hot Oil Massage


Massage your hair with any oil of your choice. Just warm the oil a little bit before applying it on your scalp and hair. You can use coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil or any other oils as per your preference. Hot oil massage helps to improve the blood circulation in your scalp and thereby promotes the hair growth. It also nourishes your scalp and keep it moisturized. Application of oil in hair strands keeps them conditioned and make them more smoother and shinier. Allow the oil to sit there for 20 minutes and then wash with some mild shampoo.

Use a good moisturizing conditioner on your hair to keep it smooth and shiny. It eliminates the friziness from your hair and keep it manageable. Skipping your conditioner makes it easier for your hair to get damaged, which leads to breakage and hair thinning. 

4. Flip Your hair Upside Down


Flipping your hair upside down actually works wonders when it comes to hair growth. Just flip your hair upside down and brush from scalp to the hair tip for 2-3 minutes. Repeat this daily in morning and evening. Such a flipping helps to enhance the blood flow towards head and thereby promotes hair growth.

5. Hair Brushing


Brushing your scalp stimulates the blood flow to the scalp, which will provide enough nutrients for a more stronger and healthier hair strands. It also helps to distribute the natural oils throughout the shaft of hair, keeping them moisturized. But be careful, never brush your hair vigorously which will damage your hair strands. Choose a right brush suited for your hair.  Also, brush your hair not more than 10 minutes in a day. Don't brush too often.

6. Use a Good Hair Mask


Use a good natural hair mask once a week. It will supply enough nutrients for your hair and enhances the hair growth. Try to add some natural ingredients which well suited for your hair type and keeps it damage free. A good hair mask is an essential one to the overall health of your hair.

7. Avoid Stress and Follow Good Diet


Over stress is one of the main causes of hair fall. So try to reduce your stress levels by practicing some meditation methods or yoga. And a good sleep is also very important to reduce your stress levels.  Switch to a diet that consist of foods that stimulates the hair growth. Try to include protein contents in your diet which helps to repair damaged hair cells and promotes hair growth.
