1. Select a Gentle Cleanser for Daily Use
Always opt for a mild/gentle cleanser to use on your face on a regular basis. There are different types of cleansers are available in market based on different skin types. Always select the one which suits your skin type. It will be better to use some products with natural ingredients, if you are comfortable with it. Avoid anything with harsh chemicals and with high fragrance. Those who have oily skin, select a cleanser which is oil-free.
2. Don't skip Toner
Toner is essential to keep the pH balance of your skin after cleansing or using other products on your face. They helps to remove any dirt residues on the pores of your skin and keep it clean. They also helps to tighten the pores on your skin.
3. Never forget to hydrate your skin
A good skin acre routine is never be perfect without moisturizing/hydrating skin. When your skin is dehydrated, there are more chances for wrinkles and breakouts. Always select a moisturizer that suits your skin type.
4. Protect skin from sun
Too much exposure to sunlight can cause damage to your skin. So always remember to wear a sunscreen if your skin is exposing to sunlight. Use ingredients that nourishes your skin and thereby provide a healthy glow to it. Make sure that your face mask doesn't contain too much harsh chemicals. Always try to stick on some herbal products which are beneficial to your skin.
7. Opt for natural remedies
Skin care products with too much chemicals in it may sometimes provide a fast result in your skin care routine, but on a long run they may cause damages to your skin cells and the result may be unfavorable. 8. Try out oil cleansing
Oil cleansing is an effective method to make your skin more clearer, by removing all the dirt and impurities of your skin. It helps to remove blackheads from your face and reduce acne. You can use any oil that suits your skin ( like sunflower oil, castor oil, avocado oil etc) for oil cleansing. Gently massage the oil on your face for some time to dissolve all the dirt and makeup residues. After that wipe your face with a soft cloth soaked in warm water, to remove the oil from your face.
9. Remove makeup
You cant compromise to this point of removing makeup, before going to bed, for a healthy problem-free skin. If you are not removing the makeup properly it will clog the pores of your skin and this leads to acne and breakouts. Allow the skin cells to repair by itself; through a proper cleansing before going to bed..
10. Green Tea
Green tea is rich in anti oxidants which fight against the free radicals and prevent your skin cells from getting damaged. So make it as a habit for a more glorified skin texture.
11. Drink water
If you are really bothered about your skin, it is a must; that you should drink 6-8 glasses of water per day. It helps to wash away all the impurities from your body and makes it clean. It also hydrates your skin making it more youthful and supple. Drinking adequate amount of water is the best solution for dull-looking skin.
12. Exercise and control stress
Regular exercise makes your skin more brighter and glowing. Exercise helps to increase the blood flow in your body and thereby keeps your skin healthy and nourished. It reduces stress. Stress makes our skin dull. So manage stress by proper exercises and a good sleep.
