Hi, Maybelline Baby Lips balms are amazing product from Maybelline and it is one of my favorite brand of lip balms. They are sheer pigmented hydrating lip balms with a cute packaging. Maybelline Baby Lips expanded their collection with the launch of the Color Balm Crayons - a crayon version of Baby Lips Balms... So lets take a look at all these shades,

What they describe:

Baby Lips Color Balm Crayon delivers easy application for bold bursts of bright, juicy color. Bring on bold bursts of bright, juicy color and 12 - hour hydration for more kissable lips.

How to apply:

Step 1: Apply the crayon in the center of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth.
Step 2: Glide the crayon across the entire bottom lip.

Ingredients:

Octyldodecanol, Diisostearyl Malate, Petrolatum, Polybutene, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Polyethylene, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter / Shea Butter, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Alumina, Silica Silylate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Aroma/Flavor, Limonene and Silica

Packaging:

They have a cute packaging different from original Baby Lips Balms. The crayons are kept as twist-up sticks with colored caps. The caps indicates the colors of lip crayons which makes you know what color is inside, at a glance.

Formula:

The Baby Lips Color Balm Crayons are creamy, oil based balms. They are very hydrating and pigmented than the original Baby Lips Balms. They fill color on your lip with one swipe. But the consistency varies among different colors.

My experience:

As per my view they are doing a 2 in 1 job;  pigmented as a lipstick and moisturizing as a lip balm. The applicator is very good and it easily glides on the lips. It fades from lips after 3-4 hours, especially if you are eating or drinking something. Even if the darker shades leaves a bit of shade on the lips after 3 -4 hours, we have to reapply it to get a full finish. I feel the darker shades are smoother than the lighter shades on my lips. The darker ones doesn't settle in the lines of lips. But on wearing some of the lighter shades, they seem to settle in the lines of my lips.The fragrance is light and nice.
