DIY Red Wine Facial And Its Benefits

Hi, Red wine is well known for its health and beauty benefits from ages. It contains anti-aging ingredients and helps to rejuvenate your skin. It also helps to retain the collagen balance of your skin and thereby restores the elasticity of your skin. So it is widely used as an ingredient in many luxury facials and spas. And also, there are so many red wine facials are available in the market. Here, we can try a good red wine facial at home with natural ingredients. The steps are very easy to follow and it definitely gives you a healthy, glowing skin.

How to Do Red Wine Facial:

Cleanse your face using any mild facial cleanser. You can use any natural ingredient like lemon juice or milk mixed with 1 Tsp of Red wine to cleanse your face. Dip a damp cloth/cotton pad in this mixture and wipe away all the dirt from your face.

Step 2:


Scrub your face with 1 tsp red wine mixed with any natural exfoliators like powdered rice, powdered oats or ground coffee.

For massaging your face, mix 1 tsp of red wine with 2 Tbsp of Aloe vera gel or thick cream (for dry skin) together and massage on your face in circular motion. Always remember to massage your face in upward direction.

Make a Red wine face mask by mixing 3 Tbsp Red wine, 2 Tbsp Yogurt, 1 Tsp Honey together into a smooth paste. Apply this mask on your face and leave it there for 15 minutes. Then rinse with normal water.
