1. Lemon

Lemon is an amazing bleaching agent. It is rich in Vitamin C which promotes cell growth and improves skin complexion. While using lemon as a bleaching agent, keep in mind that it will make your skin more sensitive.


How to Use:

  • Squeeze some lemon juice to a small dish.
  • Dip a cotton ball into it and apply directly to your face.
  • Allow it to be there for 20-25 minutes.
  • Then wash with normal water.
  • Apply this at least once a week.


Lemon has acidic properties, which sometimes make your skin more sensitive and dry. If you are facing any such problems with lemon, You can use the lemon juice mixed with honey or yogurt.

2. Tomato

Tomato is an excellent ingredient that provides amazing results. It is rich in Vitamin C and anti-oxidants.

  • Mash 1 ripe tomato and take the juice.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of yogurt to it.
  • Apply it all over your face and wait for 20 minutes.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water.

3. Oatmeal

Oatmeal mask helps to exfoliate and bleach your skin. It leaves your skin smooth and supple after use. It removes all the impurities and dead skin and make it brighter.


How to Use:

  • Mix 2 Tablespoon of Oatmeal, 2 teaspoon of yogurt, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
  • Grind them well to a smooth paste.
  • Apply it and leave it there for 30 minutes.
  • Rinse with normal water.
Apply this face pack 2-3 times a week to reduce the pigmentation and make your skin lighter. This face mask is also beneficial in lightening the dark spots.

4. Potato

Potato is an effective ingredient in removing the tanning. 


How to Use:

  • Take 1 potato and peel it.
  • Make it to small pieces and blend them into a smooth paste.
  • Add 3-4 drops of rose water/ honey to it.[Use honey if you have dry skin].
  • Apply it and wait for 30 minutes.
  • Wash off with cold water.
Potato is very effective in removing sun tan. If you are exposed to sunlight for a long time this face mask is a good remedy to remove the pigmentation and makes your skin lighter.

5. Sandalwood Powder

Sandalwood powder helps in reducing the dark spots and scars. It is a very effective one for those who have pigmentation problems.


How to Use:

  • Take 2-3 teaspoons of sandalwood powder.
  • make it into a paste using Raw milk / Rose water.
  • Apply it and leave it for 20 minutes.
  • Rinse with normal water.

6. Cucumber

Cucumber helps to lighten your skin color.


How To Use:

  • Take a piece of cucumber and peel it.

  • Take some orange peel and make them dry in sunlight.
